B.Sc Home Science is a 3 year full-time undergraduate course which deals with the management and economics of maintaining home and surrounding. Eligibility to which is qualifying 10+2 examination with 45% or any intermediate examination with equivalent marks and above.
- Eligibility: 10+2/lntermediate of UP. Board or equivalent in any stream with 45% Marks

Candidates possessing the knack of the organizing things, ability to perform varied tasks, having a creative bent of mind and good communication skills are considered to be suitable for the program. It is necessary for students to possess a good analytical and logical mind, in order to lend a realistic approach to situations and things. This program is beneficial to people who wish to pursue further research work or take up the profession of teaching in future.Graduates after the successful completion of the program have many options for jobs in technical fields, food industry, as research assistants, demonstrators and other such. The candidates draw a decent salary package ranging between INR 2 to 7 Lacs annually. This can gradually increase with experience and promotion of position.

- Health Care Worker : Work includes educating the people of the various benefits of taking care of health, conducting campaigns, seminars in order to promote the physical, mental and nutritional health of patients.
- Chef : Cook variety of cuisine, work for reputed hotels and restaurants as the head chef, carry on the duties of head chef in absence of senior.
- Nutrition Expert : Work as a clinical dietician, nutritionist for private hospitals, healthcare and also on the individual basis. Provide nutritional advice to people in order to maintain their good health.
- Child Care-taker : Taking care of children in day-care centers, looking after their needs and safety. Work includes feeding, grooming, dressing, diapering toddlers, taking care of the needs of children.
- Food Analyst: Test the samples of food to check its flavor, color, nutrients, and texture. Measure the quality control, produce new techniques to prepare new cuisines.
- Housekeeping supervisor: Responsible for keeping the house clean and tidy. Supervise over the housekeeping staff that they carry on their work efficiently.
- Hospital Attendant: Carrying on a routine check on patients whether the room is tidy, food is served and assists other staff in carrying out important duties.
